Consider joining a team:

  • You and your team members will learn how to paddle a dragon boat from an experienced trainer.
  • All equipment is provided: dragon boat; paddles; personal floation devices; and a steersperson.

Wi invitationmovethemoney 1 page updateA message from Local 243 President Marie Dusio: Local 243 members are invited to attend to a special one-day “Move the Money: From the Pentagon to the People” workshop on Saturday, May 31st from 9:30 a.m. until 4 p.m (with lunch provided).

The workshop is designed for organizers and leaders who will engage in a training and conversation about the federal budget — in particular, Pentagon spending and its impact on the Wisconsin economy. Workshop participants will discuss how we can work together for a local economy with sustainable manufacturing jobs and fully-funded community services.
